據 Far Out Magazine 報導，Radiohead 主唱 Thom Yorke 曾在 2008 年接受 BBC 訪問時，回憶 16 歲時因 BBC 評語「這個人聽起來像 Neil Young」而首次接觸 Neil Young，並在唱片行找到 1970 年專輯《After The Gold Rush》，當場「立刻愛上他的音樂」。Yorke 更曾在 Bridge School Benefit 演出前與 Young 共飲，並獲准用原版錄音鋼琴演唱〈After The Gold Rush〉。
