The Wombats 宣布首專 20 週年巡演，2027 年 4 月開跑
英國獨立樂團 The Wombats 宣布為首張專輯《A Guide To Love, Loss & Desperation》發行 20 週年舉辦歐洲與英國巡演。巡演自 2027 年 4 月 1 日巴黎 Le Trianon 開跑，行經科隆、柏林、慕尼黑、阿姆斯特丹與安特衛普，再轉進英國四場，共 10 場。據 NME 報導，每場上半場將由主唱 Matthew ‘Murph’ Murphy 帶隊從頭到尾完整演出該張專輯，下半場則演出其他時期的代表曲與歌迷點名曲目。

鼓手談首張專輯
鼓手 Dan Haggis 表示，樂團意識到首張專輯將在 2027 年滿 20 年後，決定辦一場派對來慶祝。他形容該張專輯是 The Wombats 前四年的總結，把他們從「開著奶奶的車跑遍英國、睡在主辦者家地板上」的階段，推到了世界巡演。
他也提到專輯期間的回憶包括登上 Albert Hall、赴日本、美國、澳洲巡演，以及演出 Glastonbury。他說樂團會完整演出整張專輯，同時挑選其他專輯的曲目，並透露新作品仍在進行中。
從 2007 年到《Oh! The Ocean》
《A Guide To Love, Loss & Desperation》於 2007 年發行，收錄〈Let’s Dance to Joy Division〉、〈Kill the Director〉與〈Moving to New York〉等歌迷熟悉的曲目，光在英國就賣出超過 40 萬張。
此後樂團陸續發行 2011 年《This Modern Glitch》、2015 年《Glitterbug》、2018 年《Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life》與 2022 年《Fix Yourself, Not the World》。最新作品《Oh! The Ocean》於 2025 年 2 月問世，在英國官方專輯榜拿下第四名。
