The Molotovs 宣布二專《Welcome To Urbia》，2027 年 4 月 9 日發行
英國搖滾團體 The Molotovs 宣布第二張錄音室專輯《Welcome To Urbia》將於 2027 年 4 月 9 日發行，距離首張專輯《Wasted On Youth》登上英國排行榜第三名僅六個月。樂團由兄妹 Matthew Cartlidge 與 Issey Cartlidge 組成，兩人目前仍在青少年階段。配合專輯公布，樂團同步釋出先行單曲〈Urbia〉。據 Far Out Magazine 報導，樂團過去五年已累積將近 700 場演出。
先行單曲〈Urbia〉
Matthew Cartlidge 表示，他在這首歌上「really wanted to shake things up」（真的想把事情攪動一下）。他說〈Urbia〉寫完後就立刻感覺與過去不同，也指出了下一張專輯要走的方向，並提到隨著演出場次增加，自己的影響來源也變廣；進錄音室時這首歌才剛寫完不久，因此保留了相當生猛的能量。
單曲內容取材自樂團巡演途中經過的城鎮。Issey Cartlidge 形容這首歌「quite moody and driving」（陰鬱而帶推進感），並偏向工業質地。
Welcome to Urbia 巡演與 Razorlight 暖場
專輯消息公布之際，樂團即將展開 Welcome to Urbia 巡演，首場在 Cardiff 開跑，接著造訪以下城市：
- Nottingham
- Brighton
- Glasgow
- Newcastle
- Sheffield
- Leeds
- Liverpool
- Manchester
- Birmingham
- London，O2 Forum Kentish Town（倫敦因需求追加第二場）
巡演之後，The Molotovs 將擔任 Razorlight 的暖場，其中包含 12 月 4 日的 OVO Arena Wembley 場次。
首專《Wasted On Youth》的排行榜成績
今年 2 月，The Molotovs 以首張專輯《Wasted On Youth》與 Lily Allen、Olivia Dean 在英國專輯榜競逐，最終拿下第三名。樂團表示，希望《Welcome To Urbia》能超越這個成績。
